Terms of sale

Terms and Conditions of Sale

Last updated: March 2026

Article 1: Scope and Legal Information

These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all orders placed on the Solstice Bijoux website. By confirming your order, you accept these terms without reservation.

Solstice Bijoux is a SASU (a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company). All our products and services are invoiced exclusive of tax. As the company benefits from the French VAT exemption scheme, we do not charge our customers VAT (VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code).

Article 2: Products, Titanium and Intellectual Property

  • Jewellery materials: The materials used are specified on each product page. As titanium is a technical metal rather than a "precious metal" for customs purposes, it does not bear an official state hallmark.

  • Availability: If a product turns out to be unavailable after your purchase, we will offer you an exchange or an immediate refund.

  • Intellectual property: All photographs and text on the website are our exclusive property. Any reproduction or use without our written consent is strictly prohibited.

Article 3: Prices and Display Errors

Our product prices may change without notice. In the event of an obvious computer error displaying an implausibly low price (e.g. a piece of jewellery at 0.50€ instead of 50€), Solstice Bijoux reserves the right to cancel the order. The customer will receive an immediate refund.

Article 4: Orders, Payment and Cancellation

  • Payment: Payments are secure (Stripe, PayPal, Alma for payment in instalments).

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your order free of charge only if the parcel has not yet left our warehouse (order preparation may take up to 4 working days). If the parcel has already been dispatched, you will need to return it after receiving it.

Article 5: Delivery and Customs

  • Responsibility: Solstice Bijoux is responsible for your parcel until it has actually been delivered.

  • International delivery and customs: We deliver worldwide (from our warehouses in France or abroad). When you place an order for delivery outside the European Union, any customs charges are the customer's sole responsibility. Solstice is not required to reimburse these charges if you exercise your right of withdrawal.

Article 6: Right of Withdrawal and Returns

In accordance with, and going beyond, the statutory provisions, Solstice Bijoux gives you 30 days from receipt of your products to exercise your right of withdrawal.

  • Strict hygiene conditions: Products must be returned in their original condition, complete and in their packaging. For hygiene reasons, piercing jewellery and earrings must not have been worn. If the product has lost value (worn or damaged jewellery), a refund will be refused.

  • Costs and risks: You are responsible for return postage costs. If the return parcel is lost or stolen while in the care of the postal services, Solstice Bijoux cannot be held responsible and no refund will be issued. A tracked postal service is very strongly recommended.

  • Return address: SOLSTICE BIJOUX, 1 boulevard des Brotteaux, 69006 LYON.

  • Refund: Your refund will be issued to the original payment method once the parcel has been received and inspected at our premises.

Article 7: Statutory Guarantees

Products sold on solsticebijoux.fr are covered by the statutory guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).

Please note that, under the statutory guarantee of conformity, the consumer:

  • has two years from delivery of the goods to bring a claim against the seller;

  • may choose between repair or replacement of the goods, subject to the cost conditions set out in Article L. 217-9 of the French Consumer Code;

  • is not required to prove the existence of the goods' lack of conformity during this period.

Please note that the consumer may choose to invoke the guarantee against hidden defects in the goods sold within the meaning of Article 1641 of the French Civil Code. In this case, they may choose between cancellation of the sale or a reduction in the sale price, in accordance with Article 1644 of the French Civil Code.

Article 8: Liability and Use

We cannot be held liable in the following cases:

  • Loss of jewellery due to incorrect handling or a clasp not properly clipped into place by the customer.

  • Infection, inflammation or a skin reaction related to inadequate care of the piercing site or inappropriate use.

Article 9: Personal Data

Your personal information is necessary to manage your order. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 and the GDPR, you have the right to access and rectify your personal data and to object to its processing by contacting us at hello@solsticebijoux.fr.

  • Telephone marketing: In accordance with the statutory provisions, you may register free of charge on the French telephone marketing opt-out list (Bloctel).

Article 10: Disputes and Mediation

  • Mediation: In the event of a dispute, you may use the CM2C mediation service free of charge, online at www.cm2c.net or by post at CM2C, 14 rue Saint Jean, 75017 Paris.

  • Jurisdiction: Any dispute that has not been resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Lyon and governed by French law.
