Titanium for sensitive ears

Itchy, red or hot ears may be reacting to nickel in some jewellery. Our hypoallergenic, nickel-free titanium is particularly suited to sensitive ears and helps limit reactions linked to this metal.

Lightweight and corrosion-resistant, it does not rust or darken like sterling silver. Its polished surface feels smooth against the skin for comfortable everyday wear.

Easy push-fit fastening (threadless)

This piece has a threadless push-fit fastening. The pin fits into the post without a screw thread.

How does it work? Insert the pin halfway into the post, bend it very slightly to create tension, then push it fully into place. Check that it is secure before wearing.

Which size should I choose for Artemis?

Artemis is available in 8 mm. Compare this measurement with jewellery that feels comfortable in the same placement, and remember to check the 1.2 mm post thickness.

Can I wear Artemis in the shower or at the beach?

You can wear Artemis in the shower. To preserve its shine after swimming in the sea, rinse away the salt with fresh water and dry it with a soft cloth.

Is Artemis suitable for an initial piercing?

Artemis is intended for healed piercings. Consult your piercer before an initial piercing: the material alone is not enough to determine suitability. The finish, dimensions and your piercing also matter.

Why is Artemis sold individually?

Buying individually gives you the freedom to build your ear stack. Choose Artemis to complete one ear, or two pieces if you would like the same design on both sides.

Does Artemis contain nickel?

No, the body of Artemis is made from nickel-free hypoallergenic titanium. This is distinct from designs that include a steel chain.

Could Artemis tarnish or rust?

Artemis is designed to last, with its titanium base and EverGoldℱ finish. Clean it gently without abrasive products to preserve its colour.

Can I wear Artemis every day?

You can include Artemis in your everyday ear stack once your piercing has healed. Make sure it feels comfortable and the fastening stays secure.

How do I fasten Artemis?

There is no need to screw it in: Artemis's threadless end pushes into the post. Check that it stays secure; your piercer can adjust its tension if needed.

How can I check the 8 mm measurement before ordering?

Use jewellery that already fits you in the same placement as a reference. Artémis has an 8 mm post length; also compare its thickness with your current jewellery.

Should I choose Artémis or Artémis Lobe?

Artémis has a 1.2 mm post thickness, compared with 0.8 mm for Artémis Lobe. Choose according to the thickness of your current jewellery, even though the designs look similar.
