Titanium for sensitive ears

Itchy, red or hot ears may be reacting to nickel in some jewellery. Our hypoallergenic, nickel-free titanium is particularly suited to sensitive ears and helps limit reactions linked to this metal.

Lightweight and corrosion-resistant, it does not rust or darken like sterling silver. Its polished surface feels smooth against the skin for comfortable everyday wear.

Easy push-fit fastening (threadless)

This piece has a threadless push-fit fastening. The pin fits into the post without a screw thread.

How does it work? Insert the pin halfway into the post, bend it very slightly to create tension, then push it fully into place. Check that it is secure before wearing.

Can I wear Constellation in the shower or at the beach?

Yes, Constellation is designed to resist everyday exposure to water. Rinsing it with fresh water after the beach and drying it gently help preserve its finish.

Is Constellation suitable for an initial piercing?

Constellation is intended for healed piercings. For an initial piercing, ask your piercer to choose suitable jewellery: the material alone is not enough. The finish, dimensions and your piercing also matter.

Why is Constellation sold individually?

This lets you add Constellation to one ear or pair it with another design. Choose each piece to suit your own ear stack.

Does Constellation contain nickel?

Constellation is made from hypoallergenic, nickel-free titanium. You still need to choose jewellery that fits well and feels comfortable in your chosen placement.

Could Constellation tarnish or rust?

Constellation’s EverGoldℱ finish is designed to retain its shine for a long time. Titanium resists corrosion; gentle care preserves the surface.

Can I wear Constellation every day?

Yes, Constellation is designed for everyday wear in a healed piercing. The right size should feel comfortable, without pressure on your ear; check the fastening regularly.

How do I fasten Constellation?

Constellation uses a threadless fastening: the end pushes into the post. If it does not stay firmly in place, have its small pin adjusted rather than forcing it.

How do I know whether Constellation’s post will fit me?

Compare the wearable length of your current post, between the decorative end and base, with Constellation’s 8 mm. Check the thickness too: length and thickness are two different measurements.

Is another post length available?

Solstice’s threadless labret posts are available in 6, 7 and 8 mm. Keep the thickness suited to your piercing and have the length confirmed if you’re unsure.
