Titanium for sensitive ears

Itchy, red or hot ears may be reacting to nickel in some jewellery. Our hypoallergenic, nickel-free titanium is particularly suited to sensitive ears and helps limit reactions linked to this metal.

Lightweight and corrosion-resistant, it does not rust or darken like sterling silver. Its polished surface feels smooth against the skin for comfortable everyday wear.

Easy push-fit fastening (threadless)

This piece has a threadless push-fit fastening. The pin fits into the post without a screw thread.

How does it work? Insert the pin halfway into the post, bend it very slightly to create tension, then push it fully into place. Check that it is secure before wearing.

Can I wear Triade in the shower or at the beach?

Yes, Triade is designed to withstand everyday exposure to water. Rinsing it with fresh water after the beach and drying it gently help preserve its finish.

Is Triade suitable for an initial piercing?

Triade is intended for healed piercings. For an initial piercing, ask your piercer to choose suitable jewellery: material alone is not enough. The finish, dimensions and your piercing also matter.

Why is Triade sold individually?

This lets you add Triade to just one ear or pair it with another design. Choose each piece to suit your own ear stack.

Does Triade contain nickel?

Triade is made from nickel-free hypoallergenic titanium. You still need to choose jewellery that fits well and feels comfortable in your piercing.

Could Triade tarnish or rust?

Triade's EverGoldℱ finish is designed to retain its shine over time. Titanium resists corrosion; gentle care helps preserve the surface.

Can I wear Triade every day?

Yes, Triade is designed for everyday wear in a healed piercing. The right size should feel comfortable, without putting pressure on your ear; check the fastening regularly.

How do I fasten Triade?

Triade has a threadless fastening: the decorative end pushes into the post. If it does not stay firmly in place, have its small pin adjusted rather than forcing it.

How do I know whether Triade's post will fit?

Compare the wearable length of your current post, between the decorative end and the base, with Triade's 8 mm. Check the thickness too: length and thickness are two different measurements.

Should I choose Triade or Puce Triade?

Triade has a post thickness of 1.2 mm, compared with 0.8 mm for Puce Triade. Choose according to the thickness of your current jewellery, even though the designs look similar.
